Three women in hijab – looking cute
I was at the coffee stop yesterday when three Muslim women walked in. Foreigners. Covered from head to toe. Only skin to be seen was the face and the hands, downward from the wrist.
However the black hijab was made out of some good quality material. I think that the hijab is supposed to hide the figure, but this type of material and the way it was stitched sort of gave a pretty decent idea of the figure, but not too much. My guess is that they come from a country where they have to where a burka, but these ladies wanted to do what they wanted – within tradition.
They wore make up, and had done their eyebrows and lips nicely: they looked beautiful. They were so cute. It was amazing, and they were full of life.

another one was in unawatuna, during the long weekend,on the beach,in the sun, dressed in black, with only her eyes showing….wtf?!?!?!
I rarely come across people saying that they look pretty… coz they’re way too covered up..:)
There was a muslim girl that went to my old school.
She only had her face and hands showing, but she was stunning. Perfect facial features, fair skinned and the most beautiful set of green eyes I had ever seen.
Naturally beautiful and very confident. I couldn’t help but stare at her.
Opens your eyes up to our way of seeing. What we fail to see in others, when we stand amongst a crowd.
Actually a lot of arab women/girls love wearing hijab because it kind of gives the sort of allure you are talking about. There are a lot of quite glamorous hijabs etc, and now they are available in more fitted sizes etc. It is sometimes used as a sort of flirtation device! I have been told some women cover their face on purpose, even if they don’t have to, when a man walks in. You can imagine if she has eye make up on, and everything is covered, except her eyes. Especially if they are green or quite dark!
Have a look at the arab social networking sites, you will see some of the women who attract the most number of hits, are those who cover up the most. I suspect they are not purely related to “social” networking.
galleblogger: she is enjoying and having fun, perhaps not in the way we do, but in her own way. Not too sure whether we can say who is enjoying it more… :)
By the way, Indyana is curious about what people think about the Hijab..
when i was in a middle eastern country a few years back i saw women in hijab everywhere, and this was not a country where the hijab is mandatory. most even covered their eyes, but if the face veil is caught by the wind and lifted you can catch a glimpse of the perfect persian skin. they also wore lots of make up of exotic colours, so you can see bright eye liners and eye shadows.
Well its obvious that they have the best skin.. coz they’re not exposed.. and like mentioned above.. always have the allure.. causing a lot of men to go mad thinking who’s underneath. I had a few friends.. who were like that.. but i tell you it’s a mess to eat it in them.
